ABC Sets ‘Bachelor In Paradise’s Colton Underwood For Next ‘The Bachelor’

Following his split with Raisman, Underwood appeared as a contestant on The Bachelorette, and is now set to be the new bachelor on The Bachelor. I think part of me wanted this to work so bad.

Subsequently, an "After the Final Rose" episode was tacked onto the season to allow viewers-and the show's contestants-to process their feelings, and an Internet firestorm erupted. That season was the most shocking one so far.

For weeks, fans have speculated and wondered who would be the next new star of The Bachelor 2019.

Tia Booth and Colton Underwood may have called it quits on 'Bachelor In Paradise, ' but Tia has no bad blood towards her ex now that he's the new Bachelor.

"I'm going to live my life and do what I've always done". He also isn't the only virgin to compete on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette.

The Indiana native made it all the way to hometown dates, with Becca seemingly excited about where their relationship could go.

Ignoring all the red flags before this season of BiP started, Colton's flip-flopping on his relationship with Tia throughout his time in Paradise is a pretty big sign he doesn't know what he wants out of a partnership.

The 26-year-old was then eliminated from the show, clearly heartbroken by not being able to continue things with Becca. But I woke up one morning and realized that a future wasn't there.

Following the episode, Colton posted the sweetest message on Instagram about Tia. Colton was probably cast because he's more ready to get married than other potential Bachelors.
