The handsome spring weather will last the entire weekend, with some places maybe even getting their first summer day of the year, Weerplaza reports.

He said the mild air would prevail on Easter Sunday and Monday. There is also a high pollen count forecast, making it a bad day for hay fever sufferers. Temperatures this week stay mostly above average as we should be sitting at 60 degrees for our afternoon highs this time of year.

"Temperatures will reach into the low 20s Celsius quite widely and there's a good chance some places particularly in the south could see temperatures peaking around 24 to 25 Celsius".

Highs will be in the low-80s area wide by Monday as we still look to see plenty of sunshine, this time with a few high clouds streaming through the area. Increasing clouds tonight and not as cool with lows in the mid to upper 40s.

A ticket to the next stage of the tournament was granted to the 11-time victor after defeating Roberto Bautista Agut 6-1, 6-1. Cameron Norrie also booked a spot in round three as he bagged a fine 7-6 (3), 6-3 victory over Marton Fucsovics .

The forecaster said the reason for the warm weather is high pressure with dry and sunny conditions over Europe. Winds tomorrow will be generally light, coming from the southwest. By midweek a slow moving storm system will spread showers and storms back across the area.

It's been a cloudy and cool day as rain showers have moved across our area from time to time.

Winds will be moderate and southerly and will freshen along the west coast later on Sunday evening.
