As such, I am curious to see just how Respawn will use this experience when making Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Recent rumors suggested that Benioff and Weiss' Star Wars films could be set in The Old Republic, a popular time period in the Star Wars universe popularized by BioWare's Knights of the Old Republic game featuring iconic characters Darth Revan, Bastila Shan, and Darth Malak. The video was sadly entirely CG, with no actual gameplay being shown off, but it was still a confident step forward and - along with the interviews with Respawn developers - it's painted a pretty clear picture of what the game is going to be. Respawn made the executive decision to halt development on this title, switching development to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order instead.

As you may have heard, the Star Wars franchise will take a break from the big-screen soon after the release of The Rise of Skywalker.

Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy also spoke to "GMA" and called "The Rise of Skywalker" the "epitome of good versus evil".

"We're not just looking at what the next three movies might be, or talking about this in terms of a trilogy".

Spurs still pose huge threat in absence of Kane, insists Lloris
It will be an even bigger battle than last Tuesday, so now we must recover and prepare. It's the type of game all players want to play in.

"I think it started with EA approaching us at Respawn, and asking. We're looking at: What is the next decade of storytelling?" Below is a new tweet from Jay Ingram, community engagement manager at EA for Star Wars, in which he confirms there are now no plans for DLC for the game. "They're working very closely with Rian". Set after the events of Star Wars: Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith, you play as Cal Kestis.

At the Reboot Develop conference in Dubrovnik this past weekend, Eurogamer caught up with Hennig to ask her how she felt about Jedi: Fallen Order having no microtransactions or multiplayer components.

"We needed to cut away to the villains, for one thing, which was something I never allowed us to do on Uncharted".

We have until late this year to see the fruits of their labor with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but if there's any team under the EA banner that I trust to finally put Star Wars back on track, it's Respawn.

"I also think Respawn's game has the benefit of being largely developed before they were acquired".
