Michael Trujillo said, "ONLY IN LA: Chris Darden the man who tried to prosecute OJ is Eric Holders attorney in the Nipsey Hussle trial".

Holder is being held on USA $7 million bail, and is expected to make his first court appearance on Thursday afternoon.

Holder faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted.

The bodyguard of the late Nipsey Hussle said he's retiring from his profession Tuesday, just days after the rapper was killed outside his South Los Angeles clothing store.

Prosecutors filed charges against alleged shooter Eric Holder on Thursday before he was set to appear in Los Angeles court.

During the hearing, Darden argued against allowing media outlets in the courtroom to record the proceeding but the judge allowed access.

Holder has been ordered to return to court on May 10.

But it looks like the wait to get tickets may last almost as long as " Avengers: Endgame " and it's three-hour run time. Marvel Studios' " Avengers: Endgame " opens in theaters on April 26.

He allegedly shot Hussle and two other men, one of whom was hospitalized.

Holder is slated to appear in a downtown courtroom this afternoon, two days after his arrest and nearly 48 hours after the manhunt for him began.

Hussle was gunned down outside his Marathon Clothing store Sunday.

The friend was also injured in the attack, as was another man, said to be the friend's cousin, who was driving them.

Hussle's death prompted grief and outrage among residents in the Crenshaw neighbourhood, where the rapper grew up, and among his fans, who saw him as a symbol of hope and self-improvement.

He was arrested in Bellflower, a suburb of Los Angeles after police received a tip.
