The Los Angeles Police Department are seeking the public's help to apprehend Eric Holder, suspect in the shooting death of rapper Nipsey Hussle.

The man accused of gunning down rapper Nipsey Hussle in the Hyde Park neighborhood of South Los Angeles is under arrest, police announced Tuesday.

Nineteen people were injured during a stampede at a memorial service on Monday night for slain U.S. rapper Nipsey Hussle in Los Angeles, the city's fire department said.

The suspect then fled the scene in a white 2016 Chevy Cruz that was driven by an unidentified female accomplice, according to the release.

He was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Hundreds had gathered outside his The Marathon Clothing store where the Grammy-nominated musician was gunned down on Sunday in a suspected gang-linked attack that wounded two others.

Police revealed the shooting took place after he had a verbal altercation with the suspect and say the two incidences are connected.

Detectives told the Los Angeles Times they believe Holder has gang ties, but the motive was likely some personal dispute between the two men rather than a larger gang feud.
