Chelsea manager Sarri downplays Hudson-Odoi's England success

The Blues host Brighton at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League and once again the manager's team selection will be scrutinised, as his side were fortunate to edge past Cardiff 2-1 at the weekend.

The Italian then said that Hudson-Odoi will start one of Chelsea's next two games, either against Brighton on Wednesday or at home to West Ham United next Monday.

The kick-off time for the match is 7:45 pm.

"In my opinion, he is our future".

And Chelsea fans on social media were abuzz about Hudson-Odoi.

"I know the fans want us to win, and when the results are not there, we are all responsible".

Blues fans chanted for the under-fire Sarri to be sacked in the second half before their comeback gave him a little breathing space.
