"For two years we've gone through this nonsense, because there's no collusion with Russian Federation, you know that better than anybody and there's no obstruction, they'll so, oh wait there was no collusion, that was a hoax, but he obstructed in fighting against the hoax", Trump said. Russian Federation has denied election interference.

Barr, a Trump appointee confirmed by the Senate in February, told the lawmakers he may be able to provide information to Congress on the report's findings as soon as this weekend.

President Trump has not yet been personally briefed on the report, according to White House press secretary Sarah Sanders. After Mueller turns in his report, Barr has said he will draft a second one for congressional and public consumption. The big question now is whether the report contains allegations of wrongdoing by Trump himself.

That narrative partly revolved around a January 2017 Seychelles summit between Zamel, Erik Prince, Russian and UAE officials, and Middle East-U.S. fixer George Nader, who was intercepted by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents with the Mueller probe at Washington-Dulles airport in February 2018.

The source says President Trump was not outside with the staff.

Mueller sought to determine whether the campaign coordinated with Moscow, though it was not immediately clear whether the special counsel found evidence of a conspiracy.

This completes the Mueller investigation, though not its outgrowth in the office of the USA attorney for the Southern District of NY.

The FAA last week said it planned to mandate changes in the system to make it less likely to activate when there is no emergency. In the case of the Lion Air crash in Indonesia, it has raised questions about whether crew used the correct procedures.

Cohen, the president's former lawyer, pleaded guilty in NY to campaign finance violations arising from the hush money payments and in the Mueller probe to lying to Congress about a Moscow real estate deal. In May 2017, he ousted Comey, whose agency had been leading the Russian Federation investigation.

Mr Trump criticised how Rod Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general, had appointed Mr Mueller to carry out the probe in May 2017.

The mere delivery of a confidential report will set off immediate demands, including in the Democratic-led House, for full release of Mueller's findings. "Because if Mr. Trump were removed from office by Congress, a significant portion of this country would see this as a coup".

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said earlier this month that impeaching the President was "just not worth it". He's also been implicated in a potential campaign finance violation by his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, who says Trump asked him to arrange the transactions. Manafort in the two cases prosecuted by Mueller's team was sentenced to 7-1/2 years in prison.

But Friday's reports suggest that any further charges will not come from the special counsel, if they come at all.

The Trump 2020 campaign, along with the Republican National Committee, was also preparing aggressive responses.
