City issues cold weather alert as Hamilton temperatures plunge

We'll stay cloudy on Saturday with a chance for snow showers late in the day. We get slightly warmer Monday with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

A fast-moving weather system will bring a quick round of light snow and flurries to the region this morning into early this afternoon.

The advisory ended around 3 p.m. Colorado's central and northern mountains will see 2 to 6 inches of snow.

But if the cold air is slow to arrive and/or snow is light and mostly waits until after the commute, we could dodge the bullet.

Temperatures take a tumble Tuesday and by Wednesday we will be challenged to reach zero with several standing record low maximums and minimums in jeopardy.

Meizu replaced the speaker grill and earpiece with its "mSound 2.0" technology that allows sound to resonate from the display. There's no notch or in-display camera - just a small strap at the top of the front that houses a 20-megapixel selfie snapper.

The snow will fall for roughly 7 to 9 hours over the Valley.

A strong cold front will move down the east side of the Rockies sometime Sunday night or early Monday morning and it will bring a sharp change to the forecast.

Temperatures in central IL bottomed out even lower at the same time, with Rochelle getting down to minus 23.

We'll do well to reach a high of 2 on Wednesday with partly sunny skies and risky wind chills between -20 and -30. "Highs will generally remain 10-25 degrees below normal, in the single digits and teens, through the weekend".

She said: "As we move into Saturday we still have that westerly breeze but this area of low pressure pushes this cold front in from the west".
