As per tradition, the royal family had a black tie dinner on Christmas Eve, where they exchanged presents.

Hundreds of well-wishers had braved the cold conditions to see the "fab four" as Harry, Meghan, William and Kate have been dubbed by the media.

Cape Town - The Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Queen Elizabeth and other royal family members for the Christmas morning service at Sandringham Church.

This year, Meghan Markle is spending Christmas with the royal family at Sandringham, but years ago, the Duchess of Sussex celebrated the holiday season by performing a rendition of "Santa Baby" while in high school.

The Duchesses were rumoured to be in a royal rift in recent weeks, with Meghan and Harry announcing plans to move out of Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage.

The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Philip didn't attend.

There is still a long way to go in the title race but City now have two defeats to set against Liverpool's unbeaten record. Townsend's goal - a spectacular volley from 30 yards - was a contender for goal of the season.

Newly-released footage of the 17-year-old future duchess, first published by the United Kingdom tabloid the Daily Mail, shows Markle deliver a rendition of Santa Baby at the December 1998 Immaculate Heart High School Christmas show in Los Angeles.

Following the service, the Royal Family greeted a large crowd outside the church.

In addition, the Queen welcomed several new grandchildren as Kate Middleton gave birth to her third child with Prince William, Prince Louis, and Zara and Mike Tindall welcomed their second daughter, Lena.

The teenager, from Peterborough, described the experience as "amazing" adding: "I started watching Suits, then I started following her on social media and then followed her acting and followed her humanitarian work, so I've been a fan of her for years".

This is Harry and Meghan's first Christmas as a married couple and they are also expecting their first child next year. Perhaps, Meghan and her so-called "effect" will help change the fortune of the former Spice Girl's company.
