Several of the packages appear to have contained pipe bombs, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Those include: illegal mailing of explosives, threats against former presidents, and threatening interstate communications. The U.S. Postal Service searched their facilities 48 hours ago and the most recent packages didn't turn up. Sayoc allegedly sent 13 suspicious packages to people including former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former Vice President Joe Biden.

His package was delivered to the Manhattan bureau of CNN, where he had served as an on-air analyst.

Clapper, who has frequently criticized Trump, vowed to CNN Friday morning that he wouldn't be intimidated in light of the discovery.

Mr. Trump was asked if he plans to reach out to the Obamas or some of the individuals targeted, but he said he'll probably pass.
