The Duke and Duchess of Sussex won hearts in Dubbo yesterday, but it was a five-year-old local boy who stole the show, writes Chloe Booker.

After a welcome at the Dubbo Airport, Meghan and Harry helped celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Ironically, the royal couple were in Dubbo to discuss the droughts that had plagued that region - but the heavens opened and they were soaked by torrential rain. But one elderly woman in a wheelchair stood out to the prince.

First off, Meghan stuck to the Royal protocol for travel overseas and wore a sleeveless cream colored body-hugging-yet-sophisticated dress by local designer Karen Gee.

"You are the salt of the earth". Honest, hard working and as tough as they come, and that resilience, sense of humor and commitment to the land are the qualities that make you unique.

Later on Wednesday, Harry and Meghan are expected to meet with farmers who had been badly affected by this year's drought.

Hatch, however, was filmed dismissively waving a woman away at the elevator and saying that he'd talk with her 'when you grow up'. Trump also said women, far from being outraged at Kavanaugh, "were outraged at what happened to Brett Kavanaugh , outraged".

The duchess brought with her for tea a homemade loaf of banana bread that she reportedly made in the kitchen of the Admiralty House in Sydney, where she and Prince Harry are staying.

Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales has revealed he toasted news of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's baby "several times".

In the town, shops and pubs were decorated with banners, bunting and royal portraits.

While Meghan Markle's pregnancy was only confirmed on Monday, the Duchess of Sussex had actually dropped a hint that she was expecting three weeks ago.

They will visit Melbourne on Thursday before returning to Sydney.

The couple are on a 16-day tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand that their Kensington Palace staff said would not be altered despite confirmation that the former actress is pregnant.
