Perhaps the most exciting bit of the teaser comes at the end when we get our first glimpse of Mena Massoud as Aladdin himself just as he's about to grab hold of the lamp for the first time.

Walt Disney Studios took to Twitter sharing the poster after Smith, saying to check out the first look of the live-action remake on Thursday, hinting at a trailer debut or first official set photos. Smith can certainly be amusing, and he's got a wealth of charisma.

The image features the iconic magic lamp our favorite street rat finds housed within the mysterious Cave of Wonders.

Smith's caption on Instagram reads: "LEMME OUT!" Can't wait for y'all to see Me BLUE!

He wrote me lovely letters, and they're great letters". "And then we fell in love", Trump said. "And they're great letters". By contrast, Trump in his remarks to the assembly on Tuesday, thanked Kim "for his courage and for the steps he has taken".

Unfortunately, there's no look at Will Smith as the Genie just yet, but remember this is just the first tease! Directed by Guy Ritchie, who brings his singular flair for fast-paced, visceral action to the fictitious port city of Agrabah, the film is written by John August and Ritchie based on Disney's "Aladdin". The late Robin Williams voiced the legendary Genie character in one of his most memorable roles.

The Disney movie is expected to fly into theaters in May 2019.

Guy Ritchie's film follows numerous same beats - Mena Massoud stars as the titular charming street rat who meets the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott) and a Smith's Genie who may be the key to their future. Disney is also developing live-action remakes for their streaming service - titles like The Sword in the Stone and Lady and the Tramp.
