Arizona Vietnamese Community Holds Candlelight Vigil For Sen. John McCain

President Donald Trump has broken his silence on John McCain, saying he appreciates everything the late senator has done for the country.

As many reporters noticed Monday morning, the flags atop the White House that were lowered to half staff on Saturday out of respect for Sen. He said McCain gave his life in service to this nation, exemplifying all that we admire in a hero. Vice President Mike Pence is likely to attend in place of the president.

Governor of Arizona State Doug Ducey will appoint a nominee for the place of John McCain from the state in the U.S. Senate.

McCain, who's remembered by most as an American hero, will be laid to rest at the U.S. Naval Academy's cemetery in Annapolis, Maryland on Sunday.

The U.S. flag at the White House at full-staff. The Arizona Republican, whose relationship with President Trump has always been fraught, died on Saturday at the age of 81 after battling brain cancer.

The most recent presidential proclamation Trump made that lowered U.S. flags to half-staff was for the victims of the shooting at the Capital Gazette newsroom in Annapolis, Maryland, in June.

Weisselberg, working with another Trump Organization executive, helped arrange payments to Cohen that totaled $420,000. Alan Futerfas, an outside lawyer for the organization, also did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

McCain's family is reported to have said they do not want President Trump to attend.

The American People magazine, paying tribute to the memory of Senator John McCain, who died August 26 at the age of 81 from brain cancer, reports that the death of the policy was a serious blow to his mother Roberta McCain.

"Senator McCain served our great nation honorably for decades, and I enjoyed working with him on numerous veterans issues", Roe said.

But Trump has released a tweet of condolence.

The White House issued no formal statement over the weekend about McCain's death, though one was drafted, according to United States media.

The group noted that Trump issued presidential proclamations commemorating the deaths of first lady Barbara Bush and pastor Billy Graham. McCain served as a naval pilot in the Vietnam War, spending five years as a prisoner of war after his plane was shot down in 1967. According to the US Flag Code, two days in the minimum time that the flags should fly at half-mast for a member of the House of Congress.
