President Donald Trump sent out a barrage of tweets Tuesday morning suggesting that Robert Mueller, the special counsel heading the Russian Federation investigation, and his team of FBI agents are plotting to "meddle" in the midterm elections.

Tuesday's conspiracy theory was accompanied by a barrage of Trump tweets on the Russian Federation probe, which repeated his previous requests for investigations into his political enemies.

The congressional investigations have been separate from the ongoing criminal investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller on behalf of the Department of Justice.

One of President Donald Trump's personal attorneys "admitted" that the special counsel investigating Russia's meddling in the 2016 election had a "good case for obstruction" of justice against the president, according to a former Watergate attorney. With the congressional campaigns now in their early stages in many US states five-plus months ahead of the voting, Pompeo said there is much work ahead to mitigate any Russian interference.

The new Trump rant tweet continues a series of complaints against a group within the Mueller probe that the president considers to be biased against him, referring to them as "13 Angry Democrats".

"Why aren't the 13 Angry and heavily conflicted Democrats investigating the totally Crooked Campaign of totally Crooked Hillary Clinton", Trump tweeted.

Judge Amy Berman Jackson said in an order Tuesday that she had privately reviewed the two affidavits in question and agreed with Mueller's team that they didn't have to reveal the un-redacted information to Manafort's lawyers.

Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, a former NY mayor, said this week that any Trump sit-down with Mueller would not occur before the possible Trump summit June 12 with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore.

"I don't think anybody in the Cabinet in any administration is secure", Giuliani said.

Trump has repeatedly attacked the "13 Angry Democrats" in recent weeks, and he's also accused the Department of Justice of placing a spy inside his campaign.

Utah GOP Sen. Mike Lee says he's not going to defend Giuliani "because those aren't words that I would use". He previously covered the Trump White House.

Since that time Trump has tweeted attacks against Sessions and has made statements many believe are created to undermine the AG and provoke his resignation.

Coons cited a May 19 story in the Times saying Trump Jr. met with emissaries who told him that princes who led Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates were eager to help the campaign.

Speaking to CNN's Dana Bash on State of the Union on Sunday, Giuliani discussed what Trump and his team are calling 'Spygate, ' an as-yet unproven allegation that the Federal Bureau of Investigation infiltrated the Trump campaign for political purposes.
