Earlier this month, Stormy Daniels appeared on The View and unveiled a sketch which she says represents the person who approached her in a parking lot back in 2011 and threatened her. Daniels claims the man told her to "Leave Trump alone" and then looked at her infant daughter and added, "A lovely little girl".

Michael Avenatti filed Daniels' latest lawsuit today in federal court in NY.

The US president's tweet was in response to the release by Clifford the previous day of a sketch of a man whom she claimed warned her in 2011 to "leave Trump alone".

Her attorney, Michael Avenatti, says they are offering more than $100,000 for information leading to the man's identification. "A total con job, playing the Fake News Media for Fools (but they know it)!" the president tweeted April 18. The suit argues the president made a false statement to "denigrate and attack" Daniels. She states this damages exceed $75,000.

Daniels signed the agreement in 2016 and accepted a $130,000 payment that was issued by Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen, but now says she wants to be able to tell her story.

"Regardless of who you are or what position you hold, you are not permitted to fabricate statements in an effort to deceive people", Avenatti said.

Trump's "false statement about Ms. Clifford is defamation per se because, among other things, it charged Ms. Clifford with committing a serious crime", the lawsuit claimed.

Prince William May Have Just Hinted At The New Royal Baby's Name
The Duke returned to royal duties on Wednesday by joining Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the ANZAC Day service in London . Prince William joked with press outside three kids meant "thrice the worry now", holding up three fingers with a smile.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment. He's well aware of what happened, and about his complicity. We fully intend on bringing it to light.

ABC News reported the filing calls the tweet "false and defamatory" and claims that even though Trump didn't mention Daniels by name, he was referencing her.

Trump is also being sued by a woman named Summer Zervos, who alleged he kissed her forcibly in 2007.

Surprise, surprise. The Trump campaign is on "shaky legal ground" according to experts.

Mr Cohen faces a criminal probe into his business affairs by federal prosecutors in Manhattan.

The judge in that case recommended that Trump just mute people in his mentions that he disliked instead of blocking, but, really, Trump would be better off avoiding his mentions altogether because that's the one place on Twitter that's crazier than Trump's tweets.
