Thousands are expected to pack the school's gym for the big announcement. Would Indiana's Mr. Basketball stay home, join his friend 5-star point guard Darius Garland in the best ever recruiting class at Vanderbilt, or join the 6th-ranked elite recruiting class at Kansas?

FS1's Skip Bayless called out Langford on Twitter for choosing IN over Vanderbilt, saying that Langford "should've signed with the best school IN the country".

Romeo Langford, a 5-star guard from New Albany, Ind., made his college decision at a ceremony, announcing that he would attend Indiana.

The highly coveted recruit picked the Hoosiers over other finalists Kansas and Vanderbilt.

Mnuchin said as much during a news conference Saturday, telling reporters "a trip is under consideration", according to CNN . The short statement suggests there may be room for negotiation amid the escalating tension between China and the US.

Langford then placed the Hoosiers hat atop his head to roaring applause.

In four years with New Albany, Langford scored 3,002 career points and finished fourth all-time in state history for career scoring.

IN fans were excited even before the announcement, lining up to hear Langford's decision like a movie premiere. For most of 2018, IU had only slightly better odds than Vanderbilt, which already has two five-star recruits committed for next season.
