Fox News' Laura Ingraham, host of the Ingraham Angle, spoke with David Hogg on her show just after the shooting occurred on February 14. In the tweet, Ingraham also said Hogg whined about being rejected.

On Twitter, civil rights attorney Lisa Bloom said Ingraham's tweet may be a sign that Hogg has "really gotten under Fox News' skin".

"On reflection, in the spirit of Holy Week, I apologize for any upset or hurt my tweet caused him or any of the fearless victims of Parkland", Ingraham said. The Fox News contributor took to Twitter to slam 17-year-old activist David Hogg for the college rejections he told TMZ about on March 27. Rachel Ray's Nutrish said earlier Thursday that it was pulling its ads from the Ingraham Angle.

She added that Hogg was "Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA.totally predictable given acceptance rates".

In the past, she made a similar comment when Donald Trump Jr. liked two tweets promoting right-wing conspiracy theories about her brother. "The choice of a grown-up to directly slam a high institution trainee that has actually shed his schoolmates in an offensive catastrophe is not constant with our worths", Wayfair's head of public relationships, Jane Carpenter, informed CNBC. "As always, he's welcome to return to the show anytime for a productive discussion".

Attorney Lisa Bloom also called out the Fox News host.

"We do not plan to continue advertising on this particular program", Carpenter said.

Hogg plans to study either journalism or political science, he said. "David Hogg: I'm Changing the World, But UC Schools Still Rejected Me". The high school senior has been accepted to Cal State San Marcos, Cal Poly, and Florida Atlantic University with a 4.2 GPA and an SAT score of 1270, but says he hasn't decided what to do after graduation.
