ORIGINAL STORY: Have you noticed that it's been a while since Cameron Diaz was in a movie?

It's unclear what makes that statement a joke and not, for example, a misleading statement or what the Christians like to call "a lie" but I possess enough self-awareness to just assume I don't get it. "CAMERON DIAZ is NOT retiring from ANYTHING", Blair tweeted Monday afternoon.

She then added, jokingly: "And for more breaking news: I am NOW retiring from being Cameron Diaz's spokesperson". The pair starred together in the 2002 romantic comedy The Sweetest Thing, and Blair referred to that movie while talking about what Diaz is up to these days.

Selma Blair was the woman to put the word out there that Cameron was hanging up her acting gloves, and now she's taking that word right back.

So how about that sequel now?

In 2013, Diaz released a bestselling book, The Body Book, and in 2016 her follow-up The Longevity Book: The Science of Aging, the Biology of Strength, and the Privilege of Time.

Not quite bareback: Scantily clad woman rides horse in Miami Beach nightclub
It shows a woman wearing a thong attempting to ride the animal in front of clubbers. On social media, one angry poster declared "shame on you Mokai , #AnimalCruelty".

"Baby or not, according to Blair, ".she doesn't need to make any more films.

"But I did brag about having lunch with her".

Cameron Diaz is over Hollywood. And I have a husband who is just my partner in life and in everything.

It'd be a shame if she did indeed step away from the limelight, but who knows, maybe there might be script that's just too good to turn down.

An insider cited by The Daily Star who spoke to Blair atVanity Fair's Oscars pre-party in Los Angeles quoted Blair as saying, "I don't know what it would take to bring [Diaz] back".

She's been a part of some of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters, with her acting being a huge contributing factor to big films like There's Something About Mary, Shrek, The Mask, The Holiday and My Best Friend's Wedding. I had boyfriends before.
