On Sunday night, the 58-year-old won Best Supporting Actress for the film I, Tonya, in which she played the abusive mother of Tonya Harding (Margot Robbie). The actress and wife of the late Paul Newman was, in fact, the inspiration for the now Oscar victor to keep plugging along in Hollywood.

"I did it all by myself", she said, barely suppressing a laugh, before adding there would be "nothing further from the truth".

Allison Janney is going straight back to work on Monday (03.05.18) morning following her Oscar win.

"It's like the bird heard me and said, 'Oh yeah?' Let's see if you can ignore me when I'm putting my head in your ear, '" Janney told The Associated Press last month. "They really mentored me in a way that really made a difference in my life". In past interviews, Janney has spoken about her sibling's long struggle with addiction that led to his suicide and inspired her to take a role in CBS's "Mom" as a mother who herself is an addict.

"I just wasn't given the kind of roles on film that would give me attention like this".

"I love the kinds of women's roles that I get to play". "You are always in my heart", she said.

Damon Jones once played for the Cavaliers (left) before retiring and becoming an assistant coach for the franchise (right). It looks like Smith will be back at practice today according to Coach Lue, but the suspension will cost Smith $94,897.

Before leaving the stage, Janney remembered her brother, Henry "Hal" Janney, who died in 2011 after battling addiction and depression.

"I'm going to have a big crash-down after this so I'm happy I have the people on Mom to lift me up and keep me going and keep me focused".

Earlier in the week, Janney said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that she had never been to the Oscars, even though she had been invited before.

"I think I'm going to give him a Rolex".

At the Oscars, Allison was nominated alongside Lady Bird's Laurie Metcalf, Phantom Thread's Lesley Manville, The Shape of Water's Octavia Spencer, and Mudbound's Mary J Blige.
