Not only was she surprised by the announcement, but Sports Illustrated had also brought in former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue model Tyra Banks to tell her. Raisman's chosen phrases included "fierce", "trust yourself", "live 4 you" and "women do not have to be modest to be respected".

The cover-feature is the model's second appearance in the magazine, after her rookie feature in 2017's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. "In school my major was psychology, I always thought it was really cool how the mind works, so I would be interested in becoming a child psychiatrist", she said.

The model has been shooting with the mag since she made their cover at the age of 19. "This is my first cover ever and I am beyond speechless!"

Bouchard, a stunner who has suddenly become more famous for her exploits on the beach than on the tennis court, is topless in some of the pics, with just her arm and hand covering her breasts. "Looking back, that probably should have been a moment when we photoshopped me on there", Kate joked. "I just always aspired to be like her and follow in her footsteps".

Inflation Targets Above Expectations, Spooking Markets
With all the current available data, some commentators think that the BoE could purse an even more aggressive course of action. Higher inflation is indeed coming, but at the moment market participants may be exaggerating both its timing and magnitude.

"We're obsessed with Sports Illustrated because it's the last place that still cherishes real bodies", the co-hosts share with the 25-year-old. "You are the living embodiment to say that dreams do come true".

Raisman took to Instagram to write about her photoshoot. All those things separately don't guarantee a cover, though. All the good things about her seemed to be magnified.

Despite a 13-21 record previous year - the worst mark since her winless five-tournament professional debut in 2008 - Bouchard has managed to keep herself in the spotlight thanks to endeavours such as this one. They've also integrated a photography campaign called "In Her Own Words" which the SI site claims, "is a continuation and evolution of the essence of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit".
