Land Rover says the SV Coupe is "a celebration of the Range Rover bloodline, with a dramatic 2-door silhouette that alludes to its unique heritage - the Range Rover launched as a 2-door in 1970 - while being thoroughly modern and contemporary".

Land Rover head of design, Gerry McGovern, described the new model as a "highly compelling design with peerless refinement and uncompromised sophistication from its breathtaking exterior proportions to its sumptuous, beautifully appointed, interior".

The Range Rover SV Coupe's interior will doubtless be a attractive place to spend time with gorgeous wood and leather everywhere you look.

John Edwards, Land Rover Special Operations Managing Director, said, "Land Rover created the luxury SUV sector with Range Rover nearly 50 years ago".

A single image revealing the interior's four-seat layout has been released; it shows front and rear seats are trimmed in different-coloured leather.

Land Rover is set to reveal a coupé version of the Range Rover at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March, but don't expect it to become a common sight on the roads.

Apart from the cabin, Land Rover has not revealed any other information on the Range Rover SV Coupe.

There is no official technical information regarding the SV Coupe, as they will be made available in March, at the Geneva event.

"Land Rover created the luxury SUV sector with Range Rover nearly 50 years ago", said John Edwards, the managing director of SVO, which produced the low-volume Jaguar F-TYPE-based Project 7 and even wilder XE-based Project 8. With a full-length center console, the SV Coupe is a strict four-seater, and many of its finishes and upholstery seem bespoke to the vehicle.

In a statement, SVO managing director John Edwards said the Range Rover SV Coupe will "offer clients an alluring combination of peerless luxury and rarity".
