Sumpter Township police have released photos of a man and woman they say are wanted in the death of their 4-year-old daughter.

ABC7 reports that Sumpter Township are actively searching for Brad Fields, 28, and Candice Diaz, 24.

The manhunt started after police say the little girl was found unresponsive with severe burns on her body.

Gabby was rushed to St Joseph Mercy Hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

Two days later, the Washtenaw County Medical Examiner ruled the child's death as a homicide with evidence of multiple traumatic injuries and signs of Battered Child Syndrome.

A manhunt is underway for the couple, who may be in a black 2002 Chevy Cavalier, with MI license plate number, DTR 1854. The police have urged the people to call the U.S. Marshal Detroit Fugitive Apprehension team at 313-234-5656 or the Sumpter Township Police at 734-461-4833 ext.

Gabby was found at the home of her mother and her partner January 1, according to the Daily Mail.

At the time, the girl's mother told police the boyfriend was experiencing a suicidal outburst, and had assaulted her, shot a dog and shot himself, the TV station reports.
