The Nokia 6 isn't competing for top spots, at least not in the premium smartphone market. The smartphone is set to go on sale in China on January 10 with pre-orders going live now. "These features were only made available for the NOKIA 7 and NOKIA 8 so far, but the Finnish company is really keen on throwing the "#Bothie" on the trend. The side profile is similar to what we have seen in the previous generation model launched a year ago and is robust as well.

The Nokia 6 (2018) will be sold in Black and Silver colour variants.

The big change in Nokia 6 (2018) is the processor. The handset comes with Android 7.1 Nougat and HMD have said that it will be getting the Android 8.0 Oreo update in the near future.

Not at all like the first Nokia 6 demonstrate that was propelled back in January a year ago with a forward looking unique finger impression scanner, the Nokia 6 (2018) highlights a unique mark scanner on the back.

Nokia 6 features a 5.5 inch IPS LCD Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 403 ppi.

If we talk about specifications, the new Nokia 6 now sports thinner bezels, however, it's still a 16:9 display and not an 18:9 display.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, built on the 14nm manufacturing process. But you can still expand the storage up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card. The most glaring design change is the shifting of the fingerprint sensor from the front to the back below the elongated capsule enclosure that includes a single rear camera and flash.

Based on the newly-surfaced details, it seems that the new Nokia 6 (2018) will sport a slight redesign and a new chipset, but it will also share many specifications with its predecessor. The smartphone was debuted in India following its formal announcement with a price tag of Rs. 6,999 and is also available in the US.

The Nokia 6 2nd generation is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery and has support for quick charging. Lastly, Snapdragon 630 brings along Quick Charge 4 support to devices.

Nokia 6 2018 rear camera that was earlier revealed to come with a CMOS sensor also packs the Dual-shot or Bothie feature.
