Five-star defensive end Micah Parsons (6-foot-3, 235 pounds, Harrisburg, Pa.) has made a decision!

Rivals recruiting director Mike Farrell gave Penn State an 80% chance to sign uncommitted five-star 2018 DE Micah Parsons on Wednesday.

The 247Sports Crystal Ball favors the Nittany Lions, but Parsons' final official visit was with the Bulldogs.

Franklin's class now ranks fourth in the country and second in the Big Ten behind only Ohio State, which now has the top class nationally. Parsons was hotly linked to Ohio State at the beginning of the 2017 season, but his recruitment with the Buckeyes came to a screeching halt in September.

Lady Gaga Announces Vegas Residency
Lady Gaga could be finding a temporary new home in Las Vegas . "LOVE YOU LITTLE MONSTERS WE DID IT, MEET ME IN Las Vegas! ". Mother Monster confirmed the news across her social media platforms Tuesday.

Parsons is the class' highest ranked recruit, checking in at No. 4 nationally, while Monmouth Junction, N.J., receiver Justin Shorter and Woodbridge, Va., running back Ricky Slade are the two other five-stars.

Imagine having major college football coaches like Penn State's James Franklin, Alabama's Nick Saban, Georgia's Kirby Smart and Oklahoma's Lincoln Riley all calling and texting you, offering you a chance to come play for them at the next level. Parsons also got his picture taken with Ohio State alums Kirk Herbstreit and Eddie George on the set, also a violation for arranging high schoolers to meet with media members on a recruiting visit. I mean seriously, a credential to go on set for 5 minutes to take a picture with Rece Davis is an extra benefit? Parsons and a few other top recruits who took in the loss to the Sooners called for quarterback J.T. Barrett to be replaced with his backup, whom they had met on the trip.

Penn State's next big event starts on Saturday, as it travels to Arizona then to begin preparing for the Fiesta Bowl, where it will face Washington on December 30.
