Big news for Harry Potter fans everywhere - a new mobile game has been announced!

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and a developer called Jam City have teamed up for this new RPG, which is the first of its kind in Harry Potter video games.

Hogwarts Mystery will see players create their own original character (Do Not Steal) and guide them through school life at Hogwarts, with whimsy and adventure at every turn, no doubt.

We're already dusting off our hats and waving our wands in excitement!

An entire generation of Harry Potter fans who dreamed of attending Hogwarts will now have a chance to enroll at the school of witchcraft and wizardry through a new mobile game.

A story-based role-playing game inspired by Harry Potter is now in the works.

Jose Mourinho Accuses Pep Guardiola Of Lies Over David Silva Injury
With one eye on Sunday's Manchester derby, City coach Pep Guardiola gave starts to youngsters Phil Foden on the left and Tosin Adarabioyo in the center of defense.

But things get more weird as the chapter begins with ginger-icon Ron Weasley devouring Hermione's family as if the the Harry Potter films have been blended with Silence of the Lambs. While Warner Bros and Portkey Games (the HP-focused game label) are keeping their cards close to their chests right now, there are scarce details that give us an idea about what to expect.

And that's it, that's all we know so far - but we can guess it'll run off eckeltricity.

The sample chapter (titled The Handsome One) is "continuity-agnostic", so the plot makes very little sense - but it also reads exactly like a Harry Potter book. In 2018, the studio will release the second of five planned Fantastic Beasts spinoffs. Along the way players will participate in all of the magical classes and activities - like Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions, Dueling Club, and more.

Botnik Studios shared its creation via a tweet (below), where it explained that it used predictive keyboards that were trained with all seven books in the Harry Potter series. It's not clear what the time frame on the game will be, although playing in a post-Deathly Hallows Hogwarts could be interesting.

It continues in this vein: nearly making sense, but mostly just gloriously bonkers, like: "To Harry, Ron was a loud, slow, and soft bird".

When it is released next year, Hogwarts Mystery will be available via the Apple App Store, Google Play and Amazon Appstore.
