The former Ole Miss quarterback, who visited the University of MI on Saturday, announced Monday in a Twitter post that he will transfer to UM.

"Thank you to the wonderful people, teammates and coaches at Ole Miss", Patterson posted on Twitter on Monday. "It is a special place and I will always have great memories of my experience in Oxford".

Patterson, a former five-star recruit who played his senior year of high school at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., started Ole Miss's first seven games this season.

"It's time to go to work".

MediEvil in 4K is coming to the PlayStation 4
The remaster will celebrate MediEvil's 20th anniversary and was described by Sony as a "proper PS4-grade resurrection". Way back in 1998, a quirky action-adventure hack-and-slash title named MediEvil released for the original PlayStation.

It's a huge addition for MI, as Patterson was the No. 3 overall player in the 2016 recruiting class. Patterson was allowed to explore the possibility of a transfer after the NCAA gave its ruling on Ole Miss' off-field issues from the Hugh Freeze era. "If the NCAA allows him to play in 2018 the Wolverines become a title contender". Patterson threw for 880 yards and six touchdowns as a true freshman in 2016.

Patterson was the No. 1 pro-style quarterback, and the No. 4 overall player in the 2016 recruiting class.

If Patterson is immediately eligible, he'll compete with Brandon Peters and Dylan McCaffrey for the MI starting job.
