Furthermore, the suit claims TWC employees used a code word for young women who participated in sex acts in exchange for a movie role.

"The federal trafficking sex trafficking lawsuit is a very promising and novel legal theory because, at the end of the day, it may be a way to get around a statute of limitations that now might bar a lot of lawsuits against Weinstein", criminal defense attorney Manny Medrano told BuzzFeed News.

Studio mogul Harvey Weinstein has resigned from the Directors Guild of America, more than a month after the organisation had launched disciplinary proceeding against him.

The actress is seeking unspecified damages, accusing Weinstein of being able "to force or coerce" her into sexual activity by promising to wield influence in the film industry - and that it was a violation of sex trafficking statute.

The 31-year-old alleges Weinstein massaged her and told her if she was "a good girl" and did "whatever he wished" then "they would work" together.

Harvey Weinstein & TWC Hit With Claims Of Sex Trafficking At Cannes 2014

Noble tried to stop Weinstein's advances but to no avail she claims, as the executive 'forced his leg between Kadian's legs, began rubbing her vagina, and then took his penis out and began masturbating'.

Weinstein, who been accused of sexual misconduct by several women, was removed from the members listing on the organisation's website on Friday (24Nov17) and on Monday (27Nov17), Harvey released a statement to Deadline confirming he is no longer a part of the DGA.

Her lawsuit claims Harvey Weinstein asked her to his Le Majestic hotel room in Cannes in 2014 "to review her reel with her and discuss further steps in securing the role he had previously targeted for her". She is also suing the Weinstein Co. and brother Bob, claiming that they were aware of his behaviour, contributing to his foreign travel to recruit women into "forced or coerced sexual encounters". He then allegedly told her his "people would be in touch". "TWC employees knew to "take care" of the FOH's", the filing claims.

The downfall of Harvey Weinstein continues.

According to the suit, which was obtained by Buzzfeed News, Noble alleges the disgraced film producer lured her to the French Rivera in 2014 with "the promise of a film role".

Bob Weinstein and TWC did not respond to request for comment on the complaint.
