Deontay Wilder knocked out the only man who'd ever gone the distance with him, sending Berman Stiverne to the canvas three times in the opening round to defend his WBC heavyweight title Saturday night at Barclays Center. I shouldn't really tell you the reply, but it was 'I'll eat him, ' and the size difference is huge. Do you accept my challenge? "The Bronze Bomber" insists he'd be willing to travel into enemy territory to make it happen, a statement supported by previous plans to fight Alexander Povetkin in Russian Federation before Povetkin was caught taking a banned substance.

"I've been waiting for that fight for a long time now", the 32-year-old Wilder said.

After his exceptional first-round win Wilder said: "I know I am the best. Are you ready for the test?"

And it didn't take long for the WBC champion to bang the drum for a mega fight with undefeated WBA (Super), IBF and IBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

But on Saturday, the lone opponent to last 12 rounds with Wilder could not even make it through one. The world wants Joshua, the world wants Wilder, I want Joshua. "I want Joshua. If he doesn't give me the fight we have other plans", added Wilder. "Make a date, don't wait".

However, Joshua's trainer Robert McCracken has previously said he would personally like to see Joshua fight Kiwi Joseph Parker the current WBO heavyweight champ before Wilder.

Linkin Park To Play Chester Bennington Tribute Concert Tonight at Hollywood Bowl
The band's co-vocalist Mike Shinoda said in a statement that the song is about "sending love to those who lost someone". Linkin Park then took the stage and gave their first performance since Bennington's death.

Just like Golovkin-Canelo and Mayweather-Pacquiao before it, Wilder-Joshua is what the fans, broadcasters and media want.

Wilder had lost out on the opportunity for two marquee fights because his opponents - first Alexander Povetkin a year ago and then Luis "King Kong" Ortiz last month - failed drug tests.

But "The Bronze Bomber" fixed that and retained his WBC title with an absolutely vicious throttling of Stiverne. They trying to give me the peasant without the king on the contract. Joshua, come and see me baby.

WILD AMBITION Deontay Wilder is fighting this weekend - but could he REALLY beat AJ? I've been waiting for a long time.

He continued: "A king don't chase the peasants". I'm saying it because two unbeaten heavyweights, one unified champion, one lineal champion, both over six foot six tall, both over 18 stone.
