However, despite these moments of joy and shared tenderness, Neufelder and Smith both knew that she would soon be moving to a nursing home, as her health continued to rapidly decline and doctors could no longer fight the war against her cancer.

The disastrous minute was gotten on camera by Margaret's family companion, Crystal Hamilton, and shows Olivia singing Dancing In The Sky by Dani and Lizzy while holding her patient's hand.

The video was posted on Facebook early Tuesday by Smith's daughter Megan Smith, and has been liked by 3.4 million viewers as of Friday morning. Words can not describe the appreciation and love we feel for nurse Olivia who mom calls her angel!

Neufelder is touched by the response to the video and said it's been a life-changing experience. But while she was at the hospital, she made fast friends with VUMC nurse Olivia Neufelder.

"Knowing that she will be dancing in the heavens and singing with the angels helps me find peace during this somber time", she said.

Medicines that languish in home cabinets are highly susceptible to diversion, misuse and abuse. Liquid drugs are accepted, but not in syringes or other sharp containers.

Smith always referred to Neufelder as her little "angel". "I wanted her to know that she was loved even if her family wasn't able to be there". I am so humbled and honored to be a Nurse.

In a Facebook post she wrote, "she would sing this to Margaret whenever Margaret asked her".

According to reports, Smith's mother passed away a few days after the video was taken and had battled liver cancer for a year. It stated that Smith was "a mom to a lot of our children, a prayer warrior for those who needed prayer, an ear for all of us in time of venting and just being the most ideal friend".

A gofundme has been set up to help Smith's final expenses.
