Google has remained quiet about its plans for the Pixel 2 line, though the company's smartphone has been the subject of rumors for the last several months. While the Pixel 2 is expected to bear the standard 16:9 ratio, the Pixel XL 2 will take it with an 18:9 aspect ratio. While we don't have any concrete numbers, we can expect the larger one to have anything around 3,500mAh and the smaller version to have a 2,800-3,000mAh battery.

Lastly, the release dates for the two phones are split into two with Google Pixel 2 coming first on the 19 October 2017 whereas the bigger Google Pixel 2 XL will be unleashed later on the 15 November 2017. The new Pixel phones also mark the re-entry of the front-facing dual speakers which were a thing on Nexus devices.

Both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL handsets are to be powered by Snapdragon 835, similar to other Android flagships launched this year. In terms of hardware specifications, the device has 4GB of RAM and the rear side is dominated by a 12-megapixel camera.
