Earlier this month, Sony India gave a price cut to the PS VR headset. Sony says that the new model number will be printed on the box, so be sure the one you are looking at is model CUH-ZVR2.

In a blog article published on Monday, October 2nd, the company has announced that customers would easily distinguish the new PS VR headset from the predecessor because of the retail packaging.

The new version will feature a slightly updated design with integrated stereo headphone cables, making the dangling wires that are usually necessary for attaching headphones to the headset much less obtrusive. You will no longer need to disconnect the unit to enable HDR content on your TV.

Sony is further expanding strongly into the world of virtual reality with none other than their trusted PS VR headset. This is the second edition of the PlayStation VR, which offers an improved build quality, new design as well as the powerful camera. The new model, designated CUH-ZVR2, comes with integrated headphones and HDR passthrough support. Sony has, however, confirmed that there will be no change in the pricing of the new headset.

Turkish parliament extends mandate for troops in Iraq, Syria
Turkey is home to the largest Kurdish population in the region and is itself fighting a Kurdish insurgency on its soil. Iraq's central government has even threatened to intervene militarily in the event that the vote leads to violence.

The changes are the first significant updates since the original headset, which has the model number CUH-ZVR1, first went on sale a year ago. With the PS4 platform under their control, Sony managed to continuously launch a lot of titles to keep the PS VR active throughout the year since it got launched. All PSVR games will be playable on both versions.

House released a very positively written statement in which he expressed a desire to move on to new challenges.

Still, just because these updated devices are on the way, that doesn't mean Sony isn't working on some wholly new controllers too.
