Chelsea have agreed to loan Jeremie Boga to Birmingham City as speculation mounts that they will sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal.

So, here is an in-depth statistical analysis of each player and what they will bring to Antonio Conte's squad.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to leave north London for the west of the capital after the two clubs agreed a fee in the region of £35m for the former Southampton starlet, who is also attracting interest from Liverpool. "I think we invested a lot of time, confidence and money on players like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who we bought at a young age", he said.

The 24-year-old has been at the Emirates since 2011 and has won three FA Cups with the Gunners, but rejected Arsenal's most recent contract offer and sees his future elsewhere. The former Southampton youngster is by no means a key player like Alexis Sanchez or Mesut Ozil, but his ability to cover so many positions is hard to find - especially in such a short timeframe.

ARSENAL Football Club has not exactly gotten off to its best start ever in English Premier League history, getting smashed 4-0 by Liverpool at Anfield last Sunday. "I want him to commit to the club and be one of the carriers of the values of our team".

Wenger had insisted Oxlade-Chamberlain would not be sold earlier this summer, but it appears the Frenchman's hand has now been forced. However, the Chelsea boss has not managed to make much of a progress in his bid to strengthen his attacking and wing-back options.

England manager Gareth Southgate wants Oxlade-Chamberlain's pending move to be completed as swiftly as possible to ensure he is fully focused during the worldwide window.
