The Ghana global netted as Swansea picked up their first Premier League win of the campaign with a deserved victory over a disappointing Crystal Palace side at Selhurst Park.

On-loan Chelsea youngster Abraham put Swansea ahead with his first Premier League goal a minute before the break.

Crystal Palace who featured two Ghanaians Jeffrey Schlupp and Timothy Fosu-Mensah have been unimpressive in their previous games under their new manager, new boss Frank de Boer.

Palace are without a point or a goal in the opening three games of the Premier League season, with De Boer enduring a tough start to life with the Eagles.

A comeback never looked on for the Eagles, and a third defeat on the trot will have Palace supporters anxious over De Boer's failure to make an impression early on in the season. It is a very hard lesson for us.

"It was not because of the quality of Swansea that we lost". So I have to back the Seagulls to suffer another away defeat, yet we're getting an even juicier price about the home side this time around. It wasn't until after we were two nil down that we showed we really can play, ' De Boer said. In the first-half we were better, but in the second-half we had to defend too much.

Joselu scored the first goal of Newcastle's season to give the home side a deserved lead against a West Ham team that simply haven't got going this term, despite the acquisitions that have been made over the summer. "In the second half you saw a different Palace who creates chance and with a bit of luck you make one of those", he added.

But whilst he's happy with four points after three games and a cup win, Clement wasn't so happy with his side's performance, despite winning 2-0 and keeping a clean sheet.

Midfielder James McArthur is pushing for his first league start of the season after scoring twice in the Carabao Cup victory over Ipswich in midweek.

However, Swansea stuck again through Ayew after Kyle Naughton intercepted possession and set the striker through on goal for him to beat Hennessey.
