City Protesters Call for Truth, These Other Demands on Trump and Russian Federation

"House of Cards" creator Beau Willimon will emcee the New York City event, which will include speeches from Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) and actress and longtime Trump foe Rosie O'Donnell. "So, we will rise together to call for a complete, fair and impartial investigation, for the pursuit of truth, and for the restoration of faith in our electoral system and the Office of the Presidency".

The investigations were launched after USA intelligence agencies concluded Russia hacked the computer servers of the Democratic National Committee past year to harm the campaign of Democratic Party candidate Hillary Clinton, who political analysts say, Russian President Vladimir Putin despised.

"The Rosenstein memo was phony, we want testimony from Comey!" the protestors chanted, criticizing Trump's decision to fire the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation after receiving a recommendation from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. That was a clear reference to Trump's remarks this week that he was "elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburgh, not Paris" as a justification for pulling out of the Paris climate agreement.

Pete Simpson said. "The contents of the backpack include personal items important to the Best family". The department's official spokesman, Sgt Pete Simpson , tweeted: "Find this man Portland ".

This time it was a "March for Truth".

Supporters said their voices are no less important. "Therefore, we are organizing a group to demonstrate our support for President Trump and his fearless leadership", it added. The American people have a right to get a full accounting of what happened and how the current administration is involved, so that we can make informed decisions about how to move forward. "We're not going to put up with it", said one protester.

A couple other signs at #MarchForTruth Seattle. "We will not go back to sleep".

In what was expected to be the largest demonstration of the day, protestors gathered on the National Mall near the Washington Monument.
