WXII-TV in Winston-Salem reports people in the Courtney General Store in Yadkinville said residents locked themselves inside a bathroom and heard noises that "sounded like a train".

With the potential for severe weather Wednesday, now is the time to review the important difference between a Tornado Watch and a Tornado Warning.

There was no immediate word on injuries.

The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for part of the Tampa Bay area.
